Job Description

As an R&D Hardware Engineer, you'll leverage your Electrical Engineering skills to contribute to various projects. You'll be part of a team focusing on RF and microwave test equipment design, development, and testing. Your role will involve designing and simulating analog and RF hardware designs, troubleshooting hardware, and collaborating with a cross-functional team. You'll also develop analog and RF circuits, lead component selection, handle schematic entry, design PCB/PCA, perform electrical characterization and debug, and create technical documentation.
Salary Range: $91,000.00 - $178,000.00

Required Skills & Experience

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in analog circuit design, verification, and debugging.
- Knowledge of circuit theory, transmission line theory, and high-speed signal design.
- Experience in printed circuit board design, including high-speed signal integrity.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAE design tools.
- Strong knowledge of device physics as it applies to analog IC design.
- Practical knowledge of mixed-signal design, varied applications of feedback control, noise and low-noise design, modulation theory.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- In-depth knowledge and analytical understanding of mixed-signal design techniques.
- Experience with designing for EMC and debugging related issues.
- Understanding of data converter architectures and design trade-offs.
- Experience in chip integration working with Digital Design and Physical -Design teams.
- Basic understanding of FPGA design and programming.
- Experience in C/Matlab/Verilog modeling.
- Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC design
