A major publicly traded company in the travel industry is looking for a junior business analyst to join their team that supports the software aboard ships for a sixteen ship fleet. The software specifically is anything above the waterline including financial software, dining and hospitality, spa, and software involved with any service that is revenue generating. The team has developers who mostly develop custom software, so this person will be focused on gathering requirements, meeting with stakeholders and being a liaison between stakeholders and the technical team, creating user stories, looking at data through basic SQL querying, and generally helping keep projects on track between technical and functional teams. This is an on site role three to four days per week (typically Tuesday-Thursday). The specific focus for this role is the financial software and financial data coming from shipboard software.
