Insight Global is looking for a talented Software QA Engineer to join one of our largest technology automotive companies in the Bay Area. This person will be responsible for the data collection and operation teams to serve as a liaison for the engineering team. You will work with our data engineering team to design engineering improvements to increase and scale operational efficiencies. You will lead complex operations to ensure timely completion of data collection requests. The ideal candidate is technical and has hands-on experience with various hardware and software concepts. This candidate should have interest in autonomous vehicles and be comfortable working in ambiguous environments with minimal mentorship.
This role can pay between $40-$70/hour depending on years of experience and skillset.

· Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or have a technical degree
·2+ years of experience as an electrical software QA within automotive and robotics (embedded systems)
·Proficient with scripting languages, Python and C++ preferred
·Experience in Linux
