Job Description
Our client in the bioinformatics industry is looking for a strong and highly technical automation engineer with experience building automation frameworks for both frontend and backend to support a current gap on their team. This person will have experience in developing test automation frameworks and will initially work on Selenium and Java based solutions before pivoting to Python and using Playwright to build frontend frameworks. Experience with building frontend UI automation frameworks from scratch is a must. You will also work closely with a team of India developers.

Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of experience in automation (SDET or Quality Assurance Automation Roles)
• 5+ years of experience in Selenium and/or Playwright
• 5+ years of experience in Java or Python
• Experience building frameworks from scratch
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience building a Playwright automation framework from scratch
• Experience working with Agentic AI
