Job Description
The Driver Coordinator is the onsite operational authority responsible for converting governance and planning into safe, compliant, real-time execution. This role directly manages Driver/Test Operators, fleet readiness, mission scheduling, and issue escalation during assigned shifts.
Driver Coordinators are the control layer of the program — ensuring procedures are followed consistently across cities and shifts.
Daily Operations & Execution
Manage daily driver scheduling, mission assignments, and readiness validation
Execute vehicle check-in / check-out and SSD/ZAM processes
Monitor fleet status and live operations through the Webfleet platform
Ensure adherence to NVIDIA route plans, safety constraints, and mission objectives
Fleet, Facilities & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate vehicle service, maintenance, and vendor interactions
Support test-track and NCAP equipment operations where applicable
Ensure facilities and vehicles are mission-ready at shift start
Safety, Escalation & Reporting
Act as first-line escalation for safety, route deviation, or operational disruption
Enforce a “safety-first” operating posture at all times
Deliver daily debriefs and weekly operational status reports to leadership
Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies and gaps in Drive Ops workflows
Update documentation, SOPs, and execution standards to support continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in vehicle operations, dispatch, logistics, or fleet management
Experience supervising field teams in shift-based environments
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn proprietary systems quickly
Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure
