We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of a comprehensive Data Valuation Calculation Framework for the Gas Asset Management team. This role is pivotal in enabling accurate cost assessments, risk modeling, and long-term planning through advanced data engineering practices. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Python, SQL, Power BI, and risk analysis, along with a strong background in the Gas Utility industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support valuation and risk analysis.
Lead the design of data models and frameworks for compound calculations and strategic alignment.
Develop and maintain automated systems to replace manual valuation processes, reducing timelines from months to weeks.
Apply advanced risk modeling techniques, including black-box methods, to support strategic decision-making.
Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Drive long-term planning initiatives, including a 10-year roadmap and change management strategies.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
Proven expertise in Python and SQL for data processing, analysis, and automation.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Strong background in risk calculations, valuation modeling, and data governance.
Experience in the Gas Utility sector, with knowledge of asset management and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
