Our client is known for offering services with a focus on outstanding quality, value added engineering and successful project outcomes. These services include engineering only and engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) services for high voltage powerlines and substations. We are seeking an experience Resource Planner to support utility infrastructure projects across the client service territory. The projects may be related to major Transmission Line projects ($25M+, some exceeding $200-500M) or Wildfire Safety Inspection Program (WSIP). We are seeking someone who is organized and detail-oriented with a strong background in construction management, Excel-based planning, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will also bring experience with Power BI and SAP to support data-driven decision-making and resource optimization across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain resource allocation plans using Excel and SAP.
• Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of resources.
• Monitor project schedules and adjust resource plans to meet changing demands.
• Generate reports and dashboards in Power BI to visualize resource utilization and forecast needs.
• Support construction management teams with planning and logistics.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes.

Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in resource planning within a construction or infrastructure environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros).
• Strong communication and coordination skills across teams and departments.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience managing PG&E projects is a significant plus.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and SAP, or similar
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Experience in workforce scheduling and logistics.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
