Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Events Manager for it's corporate event agency client. It is a salaried opportunity, sitting completely remote with the exception of up to 50% travel.
The Senior Event Manager oversees the comprehensive management of events, ranging from small to large scale. This includes user conferences, sales kickoffs, roadshows, incentives, and other corporate events. Their responsibilities encompass event planning, client and venue management, production coordination, hotel room blocks, vendor relations, and contract negotiation. Throughout the event lifecycle, the Senior Event Manager collaborates with various departments, serving as a subject matter expert, guide, and mentor.

* Bachelor's degree.
* Minimum 5+ years of Corporate event management.
*Recent 2+ years in one of the agencies below, or 5+ years in an agency at some point
* Expert level understanding of event management scope and ability to lead planning process.
* Minimum of 3-4 years of direct client management.
* Exceptional negotiation and budget management skills.
* Proven track record of effectively managing multi-million dollar budgets.
* Focus and experience in an agency or corporate environment (some competitors: Maritz, George P. Johnson, Opus, Jack Morton, Streamline, Freeman, and Unbridled)
