Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server to provide strategic and tactical support for our evolving technology stack. This role is critical for bridging gaps in infrastructure, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability as we bring major initiatives online. • Strategic Design & Architecture
o Partner with onshore leadership to design scalable, sustainable solutions.
o Provide recommendations for additional servers, CPUs, and infrastructure improvements.
o Ensure optimal architecture for future managed services models.
• Security & Compliance
o Implement and maintain security patching across environments.
o Develop strategies to secure systems against vulnerabilities and push back resistance.
• Performance Optimization
o Streamline historic procedures and eliminate inefficiencies.
o Push the limits of the existing tech stack while preparing for future scalability.
• Thought Partnership
o Collaborate with applications leadership to foster dialogue and visibility.
o Offer design-level insights rather than simple “copy-paste” solutions.

Initiatives
