Job Description

Insight Global is sourcing for a Sr QA Automation Engineer to sit onsite in Hyderabad, India for one of our fastest growing start up clients. This person will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks.
Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices in test automation.
This role can pay 20-35LPA depending on years of experience and skillset.

Required Skills & Experience

810 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
