Job Description

As a Senior Privacy Analyst, your mission is to ensure that GFiber develops and delivers services while safeguarding customer and employee data. You will achieve this by leading privacy initiatives, building out and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with privacy laws and regulations. You will work to enhance our ability to design, build, and deploy services that effectively protect user data from the ground up.

In this role, you will be a pivotal member of the Cybersecurity team, directly shaping GFiber's privacy posture. You will focus on building and improving our privacy program, leveraging
automation, and providing expert guidance to internal teams. You'll collaborate closely with Legal, Engineering, Product Management, and other Cybersecurity functions to ensure a holistic approach to privacy.

Lead and drive key privacy initiatives and projects to enhance GFiber's privacy posture.
Develop, implement, and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and controls to ensure
compliance with applicable U.S. privacy laws and regulations (e.g., CCPA and other
state-level privacy laws).
Conduct privacy impact assessments and risk analyses for new and existing products
and services.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to internal teams on privacy-related
matters.
Collaborate with legal and security teams to respond to privacy-related incidents and
inquiries.
Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs for employees.
Stay up-to-date on emerging privacy trends, laws, and regulations.
Assist in the management of privacy-related tools and technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in a privacy, data protection, or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. privacy laws and regulations, such as the CCPA and other
comprehensive state privacy laws.
Experience with privacy impact assessments and risk management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in the telecommunications or a related industry.
Relevant privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT).
Experience with privacy by design and by default.
Technical background and understanding of data protection technologies.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
