Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Propulsion Technician in the Greater San Jose Area. This individual will assemble and integrate spacecraft electric propulsion components (tanks, prop lines, thrusters, brackets, heater circuits, sensors), support acceptance/pre-ship performance test, troubleshoot build/test issues, perform rework per approved procedures and assist with maintenance of HITL, continuous integration and qualification satellite hardware.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in propulsion
Electrical test experience – use of DMMs, LCR meters, or insulation resistance testing
Experience performing precision tube/line fabrication and installation
Experience executing propulsion system functional testing
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Previous experience building Hall-effect thruster propulsion systems
Troubleshoot build/test issues with engineering and quality, perform rework per approved procedures
Experience with epoxy/adhesive bonding, safety wire, precision torque practices
Comfortable working in a cleanroom and following strict process controls & documentation
