Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our Test Team within the Supply Chain manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all testing activities on a subsystem and will coordinate broader activities as part of the overall strategic vision. This role involves close collaboration with Manufacturing and Design teams to develop and qualify test processes for electro-mechanical components and subassemblies of a medical robotics system. In this role, you will lead testing activities for subsystems and coordinate broader initiatives aligned with strategic goals. You’ll work closely with Manufacturing and Design teams to design, build, and qualify test systems and fixtures. Your day-to-day will include developing test algorithms and scripts, automating test processes, and performing failure analysis on electromechanical equipment. You’ll be responsible for releasing engineering documentation and bill of materials, integrating fixture design into Agile workflows, and fabricating fixtures by assembling components and troubleshooting parts throughout the overall process. You’ll contribute to validation and Test Method Validation efforts and provide detailed status updates to ensure transparency and progress tracking.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering with strong troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in robotics and motor systems
• Familiarity with Altium Designer and/or Cadence (Allegro & OrCAD) for PCBA layout
• Experience with microcontrollers and GPIO (Arduino, ARM Cortex), FPGA, and basic coding (Python, C++/C#)
• Design experience using CAD or SolidWorks
• Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and a collaborative team mindset
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• PCBA build expertise
• Medical device experience
• Hands-on experience with Git, Python, and GUI development
