Python Developer -INTL India

Located in Chennai
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Software Developer with strong expertise in infrastructure systems and programming languages such as Python and Go. The ideal candidate will work on designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that integrate seamlessly with our infrastructure while ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Goal: Supporting several infra environments (Nutanix systems, email NTP, ETC) , currently doing manual changes and team will execute commands on Linux systems. They are trying to build automation on top of it, so no manual work is needed. Build these automation systems using python and automation tools.

1. Develop and maintain software solutions that align with infrastructure requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable systems.
3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and Go.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in software and infrastructure systems.
5. Optimize system performance and ensure high availability.
6. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

-7+ years of strong Linux System administration
-Proficiency in Python programming
-Experience with creating CI/CD pipelines and using automation tools
-Building APIs/microservices with Python
-Previous experience with enterprise level automation tools [Ansible, Terraform, Shell scripting, Python, Puppet]. ORs
-Experience with cloud platforms- Openstack
-Nutanix or VMWARE servers-how it works so they can build automation for it
-Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

-Experience in running DNS at enterprise scale is a plus
-Experience in running Email service at enterprise scale is a plus
-Experience in running NTP service at enterprise scale is a plus
-Experience in running SFTP service at enterprise scale is a plus
