Insight global is looking for a backend software engineer for a leader in the fintech space. Within the Regulatory Platform Technology team, this role is central to building secure, scalable systems that ensure compliance with global regulatory standards. Youll contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of backend systems that support the company's commitment to integrity and regulatory excellence. We can pay $40-55/hour.

-Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
-37 years of backend development experience.
-Proficiency in Java EE technologies (Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA).
-Strong understanding of REST, OAuth, JSON, and SOA principles.
-Experience with SQL and ORM tools.
-Solid foundation in programming concepts and data structures.
-Experience with testing frameworks and strategies.
-Experience with large-scale, distributed, high-performance systems.
-Familiarity with AI/ML technologies.
-Exposure to regulatory or compliance-related systems is a plus.
