A client is seeking a VTC operator/IT Specialist in San Francisco, CA. The role will be hybrid to start, but eventually fully onsite (timeline has not yet been determined). They will be responsible for providing support for video teleconferencing equipment and making sure it is fully operational at all times. To fulfill the client's requirements, this will include daily testing of the equipment -- audio, video, content sharing, and camera operation/switching. For any issues that may arise, they will need to report equipment and network problems to their supervisor and designated contacts.
Other daily responsibilities include working on assigned tickets and monitoring the VTC Call queue and VTC inbox for customer inquiries relating to video teleconferencing equipment, zoom, or box.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting computers and various IT needs utilizing an enterprise ticketing system
- Strong Windows and MAC OS experience
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of AV/VTC systems functionality including connecting to Zoom
- Any installation experience within an IT environment
- Experience with Cisco and Polycom VTC environments
- Relevant degrees/certifications
- Basic command prompt operation to obtain IP addresses and other network information
