Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Senior Marketing Technology Engineer (Contract) to own and evolve the technical foundation behind our marketing measurement and attribution. This is a hands‑on, senior‑level role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of growth, engineering, and data, and who wants their work to directly impact subscriber growth and revenue. This is a fully remote role.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the marketing data is accurate, reliable, and actionable across a complex, multi‑platform environment. You’ll own the systems that connect paid media to real business outcomes.
- Own and enhance Google Tag Manager implementations across web and app environments
- Build and maintain server‑side conversion tracking using platforms like Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, and TikTok Events API
- Instrument and validate key funnel events such as app installs, sign‑ups, trials, and first payments across multiple billing platforms
- Partner closely with Growth, Product, Data, and Backend Engineering teams to ensure attribution reflects real user behavior
- Troubleshoot signal loss, attribution gaps, and data discrepancies impacting paid media performance
- Support lifecycle metrics like trial conversion, LTV, and churn that feed campaign optimization
- Help maintain strong measurement in a privacy‑first, cookie‑restricted ecosystem
Your work will directly influence how marketing dollars are spent and optimized across channels including Google, Meta, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, YouTube, and CTV/OTT platforms.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Martech or growth engineering experience at a streaming media subscription company
- Experience with CTV/OTT campaign measurement (connected TV advertising) (over the top ads)
- Deep expertise in GTM (google tag manager) - (web and server-side containers), Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, and at least one additional events API (TikTok, Snap, etc.); significant time spent in server-side tracking and conversion API implementations
- Strong understanding of mobile attribution environments and experience with a major MMP (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Kochava, or equivalent) - (mobile measure partner)
- Comfortable working across a multi-platform stack: mobile apps, web, and connected TV devices (Roku, Apple, Amazon, etc.)
- Familiarity with subscription and billing event tracking
- Strong debugging instincts — you can trace a broken event from the source through the pipeline and know where to look first
- Familiarity with privacy-preserving measurement approaches (modeled conversions, aggregated event measurement)
