Job Description

An Insight Global client is currently seeking a Legal Practice Assistant to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity for motivated individuals to join an innovative and collaborative team focused on providing the highest quality of support to the firm's attorneys.

Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, briefs, petitions, etc.
Complete state and federal court filings and e-filings
Monitor and maintain attorney(s) case dockets
Compose correspondence, reports, memoranda
Create and edit documents, memos, presentations, and spreadsheets
Maintain calendar and contact management
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
Track, organize, and process expense reports, reimbursements and check requests using Chrome River
Review and organize documents and electronic files
Open new clients and matters following New Business Intake procedures and prepare conflict of interest forms
Assist lawyers with marketing and business development needs
Schedule and organize onsite and offsite meetings, conference, speaking engagements,
client proposals, and events
Provide support and accompany team members during trials, including travel as required

Compensation: $85,000-$115,000

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements:
10 years of experience in a Legal Assistant or Practice Assistant role
5+ years of experience in Business Litigation
5+ years of experience with a mid-to-large size law firm
Proficient with State and Federal filings
Experience supporting multiple attorneys + associates at once
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, experience with styles, generating TOAs/TOCs
Ability to work overtime + travel as needed
