AKA Brands is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Consolidations, this individual will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of accounting operations across a global portfolio of brands.
The ideal candidate is someone who wants to truly own the role, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can independently manage complex accounting, consolidation, reporting, and compliance responsibilities. This position will support a five-day close process while partnering with stakeholders across multiple regions and business functions.

Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting
• Experience owning or heavily contributing to the month-end close process
• Extensive experience with financial consolidations
• Experience working with external auditors (PwC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG, etc.)
• Strong SOX compliance and internal controls experience
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working in a global organization and partnering across multiple business units
Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working with Australian currency (AUD)
• Retail, eCommerce, or consumer products experience
• Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, and Planful
• Experience in high-growth or publicly traded organizations
Accounting process improvement and automation experience
