One of Insight Global's top clients is looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Specialist to join their team to a project on the Golden Gate Bridge. This crucial role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of team members as they work to restore and rebuild the affected areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Site Walks: Monitor the compliance of all workers to Cal-OSHA safety standards
• Orientation: Conduct safety presentations to workforce along side the project Superintendent
• Incident Reporting: Accurately document and report any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns, ensuring timely and thorough completion of incident reports.
• Safety Inspections: Perform regular safety inspections and audits of worksites, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with all team members, contractors, and stakeholders regarding safety-related issues and updates.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ yrs of construction job site safety experience
• CHST or OHST Certification
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Experience with Cal-OSHA and federal OSHA regulations
• Experience with hazardous materials handling and worker safety procedures
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• OSHA certifications
