Job Description
An employer is seeking a remote Python Integration Engineer to join a growing team focused on building and maintaining integrations across enterprise systems. This role will primarily focus on API integrations, connecting platforms such as Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360), Informatica SaaS, and other internal/external systems. This is a hands-on development role for someone who enjoys working across systems, building scalable integrations, and solving complex data flow challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
Design, build, and maintain Python-based integrations between internal and external systems
Develop and consume RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless system communication
Integrate enterprise platforms such as Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) and Informatica SaaS
Work with JSON payloads to transform and map data across systems
Handle API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, tokens, etc.)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, reliability, and data flow
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, product, engineering) to translate business requirements into integration solutions
Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of integration services
This role is fully remote, and ideal time zones are PST or CST.

Required Skills & Experience
6–8+ years of professional experience in software engineering
Strong hands-on Python development experience (production-level)
Proven experience working with API integrations (REST APIs)
Experience with system-to-system integration and data exchange
Strong understanding of JSON/XML data structures
Experience handling authentication and security protocols for APIs
Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
