Job Description
Sephora is expanding its AI driven automation strategy across engineering and quality functions. As an AI Engineer supporting the Quality Engineering (QE) team, you will design, implement, and operationalize AI powered automation solutions that enhance test coverage, improve product reliability, and streamline QE workflows.
You will work hands on with AI/ML pipelines, build automation around model validation, and partner closely with QE, data science, platform engineering, and product teams to integrate AI into the software delivery lifecycle.
This role is ideal for an engineer who blends strong automation engineering skills, AI/ML familiarity, and a passion for applying AI to real world quality challenges—aligned with Sephora’s internal AI QE expectations.

Required Skills & Experience
• Build and maintain automation frameworks tailored for AI/ML workflows, data flows, and model validation
• Automate evaluation of model outputs, pipeline behaviors, and dataset integrity.
• Integrate AI agents and agents interaction automation into QE processes.
• Contribute to automation improvements across test execution, reporting, and continuous integration.
• Validate AI model performance, accuracy, drift, and reliability across multiple environments.
• Execute functional, integration, and end to end testing for features and platforms powered by AI
• Partner closely with QE engineers and QE Leadership to embed AI automation into existing test strategies.
• Provide guidance on AI testing best practices, frameworks, and tool adoption.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new AI testing tools, automation approaches, and frameworks.
