Job Description

Under the direction of the Facility Services Area Supervisor, the Chiller Technician is responsible for completing routine service, maintenance and the repair of air cooled
and water cooled chillers, and all related mechanical equipment. This position will be servicing the greater Bay Area.

Pay Range for this role is dependent on union pay scale and experience but will fall between $75 an hour and $95 an hour.

Required Skills & Experience

Extensive HVAC large tonnage field knowledge with minimum 3-5 years service field experience.
OEM experience or factory training is preferred.
Ability to perform routine and annual chiller preventive maintenance services.
Strong background performing centrifugal chiller overhaul services.
Hands on knowledge of rigging and associated safety protocol.
Troubleshooting of chiller control panels, routine mechanical and electrical for chillers.
Extensive safety knowledge and training with minimum 5 years field experience.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills is preferred.
Ability to organize and plan daily responsibilities.
