A health services company based out of the Los Angeles, CA area is looking to hire a Sr. Accountant to their internal team. This person will be preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts including but not limited to bank reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, payroll liabilities, lease assets and liabilities, intra- and inter-company, and various reserve. This person will also be preparing reports requested by the company, internal audit, SOX, and external audit. This is a cross functional role as they will provide guidance to teams such as AP, AR, Tax, Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT, HR, and Payroll by understanding the company accounting policies and procedures to ensure it is in accordance with GAAP & FAR. This person MUST be local to the Los Angeles, CA area and be willing to work onsite up to 4 times per month.
