Job Description

A client in San Diego is looking for a TS/SCI System Admin to join their team fully onsite in Point Loma, CA. This person will be supporting a Program Management Office of a secure global networked environment. This program has been in existence for decades and the Prime has supported the work since 2012. We are looking for a candidate with the ability to learn, grow, and support this SAP program. Day in and day out, this candidate will support the system admin team by performing installations, troubleshooting the systems and network, and debugging computer systems all in a joint Linux and Windows environment. This person will also be hands on scripting with BASH or Python and hands on with the Linux command line.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience with IT systems administration, including installing, troubleshooting, and debugging computer systems
Experience with VMware products, including vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN and Veeam
Experience with Linux, including RHEL, Windows, directory services, and PKI
Experience with Red Hat Ansible and Satellite, and scripting, including BASH or Python
Experience with the Linux command line
Knowledge of system engineering processes, procedures, and best practices
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Security + Certification
Ability to obtain Linux+ Certification within 3 months of start date

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with database management, DogTag PKI, or Distributed File Systems
Knowledge of Web markup, including HTML, HTML5, AngularJS, and CSS, including JavaScript language
Knowledge of PKI Infrastructure
Ability to work in all areas of system administration from client to server
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Technology
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Certification
RHCSA Certification
