Job Description

The Treasury Specialist plays a key role in supporting Treasury and Finance functions. This position is responsible for daily cash and banking operations, including processing finance mail, researching and coding incoming checks, and supporting cash management and reporting activities. The role operates under general to direct supervision and contributes to various accounting and treasury reporting processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Support the Treasury and Finance teams with daily cash and banking operations
• Receive, log, and distribute Finance mail on a daily basis
• Research, log, and code incoming checks for cash management
• Prepare daily cash position reports and cash flow support
• Assist with weekly and monthly reporting, including bank and liability reconciliations
• Perform payoff settlement confirmations with brokers and submit wire requests (approximately 3x per month)
• Administer appraisal payment platforms (Speedpay / Chase Checkout)
• Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of accounting or finance support experience
• Mortgage industry experience preferred
• Familiarity with accounting concepts, banking systems, and Excel
• Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and deadline‑driven
• Comfortable working under supervision and following established procedures
