Job Description

The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market share within an assigned geographic territory. This field-based role focuses on building strong relationships with healthcare providers, executing strategic territory plans, and influencing product adoption through a consultative, patient‑centric approach. The Territory Manager partners closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, training, and long-term customer success.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business strategy to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Prioritize accounts and opportunities to maximize impact and territory performance.
• Leverage data and insights to guide strategic decisions and territory planning.
• Maintain accurate territory activity and insights in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Own and exceed sales targets while driving market share growth.
• Execute field sales initiatives aligned with company standards and promotional strategies.
• Lead patient onboarding efforts directly or in coordination with internal partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with endocrinologists, primary care providers, diabetes educators, and office staff.
• Present and differentiate products with clinical credibility and competitive insight.
• Use a consultative selling approach to align product solutions with provider and patient needs.
Engage with the diabetes community through events, fundraisers, and local initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Associate degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute territory business strategies.
• Strong sales, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and relevant technology.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 30 lbs. of sales materials.
Must reside within the assigned geographic territory.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or diabetes-related sales.
• Demonstrated success in business‑to‑business sales environments.
• Established professional relationships with endocrinologists and primary care providers.
Familiarity with diabetes technologies, insulin pumps, or continuous glucose monitors.
