A large industrial company based in San Diego is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. The BE will be responsible for supporting IT initiatives by gathering technical requirements, supporting Agile delivery teams, and partnering closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver well defined, high quality technology solutions. The ideal candidate has experience translating complex business needs into well documented user requirements and thrives in a collaborative, team based environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT or technology initiatives
• Proven experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements for software or system enhancements
• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and/or Scrum teams, including collaboration with Product Owners and development teams to clarify scope, priorities, and backlog items
• Strong ability to define, write, and manage user requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
• Experience with process mapping and documenting current state and future state workflows
• Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions, requirements workshops, and working sessions
• Strong Documentation experience with familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or Jira for requirement tracking, backlog management, and project documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non technical stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting projects across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience using AI based tools to support business analysis activities, such as requirements drafting, documentation refinement, process analysis, or summarization.
• Experience working in large enterprise or industrial environments or exposure to manufacturing, engineering, energy, or industrial technology systems
