System Test Engineer (STE)

Insight Global is looking for a Systems Test Engineer to join a large semiconductor client in San Diego, CA. This role will require being on-site 5 days per week as it is imperative to become familiar with the company's technology and build relationship with internal stakeholders. Because the company is headquartered in the EU, each day will start with catching up/connecting with their updates followed by diving into an assigned team's test plans including their test requirements, pre-conditions, test instructions, data collection, etc. This STE will serve as an overarching liaison understanding each group's testing plans to cohesively manage timelines efficiently and effectively - this will require PERT layouts in order to facilitate proper system integration (SI) verification testing. It will be important for the STE to support teams with defining tests and keep testing processes moving forward. Clear, concise stakeholder management skills are of utmost importance in this role to communicate across cross-functional teams.

Pay range: $50-60/hour

* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
* 2-5 years of professional experience in a complex industry such as aerospace, robotics, automotive, defense (highly complex multi-disciplined systems)
* 2+ years of experience overseeing multiple overlapping test plans involving complex test requirements
* 2+ years of experience creating diagrams to communicate test layout and design
2+ years of stakeholder management experience across cross-functional teams

Understanding of VMODEL engineering design and integration philosophy
