Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Survivability Roll-up Engineer for a leading aerospace and defense client. This engineer will play a critical role in the development and validation of advanced aircraft survivability capabilities by managing system-level signature performance rollups and allocations. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering teams to analyze radar cross section performance, maintain complex databases of scattering sources, and evaluate the impacts of design and configuration changes on overall platform survivability. This role requires a strong technical foundation in low observable technologies, data analysis, configuration management, and systems engineering. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence next-generation aircraft development while presenting key performance insights to both internal leadership and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; four or more years of experience with a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience with a masters degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
• Understand dB rollup and budget tree structures. Be able to communicate visually and verbally how various sources compile into component and vehicle level performance.
• Experience in tracking and managing large data sets.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Strong team player with leadership potential qualities. The successful candidate will work under general supervision, following established procedures.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Top Secret clearance
• Demonstrated technical expertise and application of engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practice in a relevant industry and product.
• Must possess the ability to contribute to the development of new concepts and principles.
• Experience developing and fabricating composite structures with an emphasis on low observable materials and structures.
• Demonstrated experience integrating LO compatible systems into aircraft platforms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is Required.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Existing Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Experience with Radar Cross Section (RCS) analysis and signature management
- Experience with survivability engineering programs
- Background in stealth aircraft design or low observable technologies
- Experience with third-party modeling and simulation tools
- Aircraft systems integration experience
- Exposure to advanced surveillance systems or tactical reconnaissance platforms
