Sr PCBA Electrical Engineer

Insight Global is seeking multiple Senior PCBA Electrical engineers to join a growing team of space engineers in San Diego, CA. This team in onsite five days per week and consists of 45 people, each with their own specialization to create cutting-edge space technology for some of the largest space companies globally. This person will be responsible for designing complex PCBA boards and making schematic capture. They will be responsible for all aspects of the design including creating the lay out, documentation, testing, editing, and validating the board before it goes to production. This role also requires personnel to bring up the board on their own after the design phase. This person should be excited to learn and grow as a part of the expanding team and have interest or past work experience in the space industry.

* Bachelors degree in electrical engineering

* 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing complex Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs)

* Ability to troubleshoot and document PCBAs prior to production

* Proficiency designing in Altium

* Ability to adapt to new project and quickly learn new technologies

* Ability to collaborate and work with teams of hardware and software engineers throughout the full lifecycle

* Experience working on space programs/satellites/space design

* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
