Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Hardware Engineer to support us on a complex mission involving multiple defense and intelligence customers. This individual will work to design and implement the hardware components for command and control solutions which can be deployed to secure facilities and field/remote locations. In addition to deployment, this individual will assist in leading the design and planning for these additional nodes and system sites. There will be a high level of interaction with government customers and other contractor team members. The ideal candidate will bring a background in hands on networking builds (layer 2 and 3) with a variety of providers (cisco, aruba, dell) as well sa a systems background and experience utilizing Linux.
Hourly: 80-91/hr
Salary: 180,000 - 210,000

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelors Degree and 9+ years of experience, or 13+ years of experience
-Secret clearance (TS preferred)
-Experience utilizing Dell products and the Dell command line
-Proven background in systems design and configuration (experience beyond purely O&M support)
-Experience setting up Cisco routing and Switching equipment
-Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Linux servers
-Active IAT II certification
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Working knowledge or Aruba networking products
