Job Description
Perform manual testing of controls and services software for next-generation sequencing instruments.
Spend approximately 20–30% of time participating in daily scrum meetings, sprint ceremonies, and team discussions.
Spend approximately 70–80% of time executing hands-on manual testing and working closely with software, hardware, and firmware teams.
Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases, test plans, and test documentation.
Identify, document, and reproduce defects, partnering with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate system functionality in lab or simulated environments.
Adapt quickly to new tools, processes, and technologies while maintaining a strong focus on quality.

Required Skills & Experience
2–3+ years of experience working with hardware or firmware, ideally in a lab or test environment.
2+ years of experience in software manual testing.
Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with multiple teams.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience using Linux.
Background in the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
