Job Description

A global technology company is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team in San Diego to support a SaaS Credit Authentication software product used to determine risk. This individual will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of real time data from banks and financial institutions to create fraud detection reports and models. The main responsibility will be to work with the existing modeling and development team to collect data and provide various reporting based on induvial queries. We are looking for a strong analytical thinker who will eventually work through the start to finish process of gathering data, cleaning and preparing, modeling, coding, packaging, guiding into production, and helping clients use the results.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience with Python, Pyspark, Pandas, and NumPy

- Experience working in a Linux environment

- Strong data analytic background working with large, real time data

- Experience with financial data or technical work within financial services

- Bachelor's Degree in related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- 2-3 years C++ experience

- Frequent client interfacing experience

- Previously worked at a banking or financial institution

- Fraud modeling experience
