Job Description
The Senior Professional Billing (PB) Analyst serves as a subject matter expert within UC San Diego Health’s Revenue Cycle organization, providing advanced analytical, operational, and system support for Professional Billing processes. This role functions independently with a deep understanding of end‑to‑end PB workflows, payer requirements, Epic Resolute Professional Billing functionality, and regulatory compliance.
The Senior PB Analyst partners closely with Revenue Cycle leadership, physicians, clinical departments, IT, and external payers to optimize billing accuracy, reduce denials, improve cash flow, and support strategic initiatives across UCSD Health.

- Resolute Professional Billing Certification
- Experience with: charge router, charge review, insurance follow up, SBO, remittance, credits, coding
- About 9+ years PB Epic Build
- Good communication/organization skills
- Ability to join meetings that are on PST
- USC/Green Card
