Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Secret System Administration SME local to San Diego, CA. This person will be fully onsite and responsible for dealing with major system changes, specifically a migration and implementation from RHEL 7 to RHEL 9. This person should be an expert in linux systems and have experience from compiling changes to the baseline system to finalizing the product. The ideal candidate will have ansible experience for system automation, as well as splunk, red hat, and DoD STIG experience. This person will be working hands on in a dynamic lab environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Active Secret Clearance
8-10 years of Linux System administration experience on a DoD system
Experience implementing major system changes with a proven record of success
Experience with STIGs and DoD compliance
Experience migrating from RHEL 7 to RHEL 9
Experience with automation, containerization, and virtualization
Proficiency in Redhat, Bash, PowerShell, or Python

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
- Linux certification
- Experience working on aircraft/aeronautic network
- System Imaging Experience, specifically using Clonezilla
