Job Description

A client in the San Diego area is looking for a Program Manager to join their pre-existing program. They will oversee all aspects of program execution for a Depot-Level Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility, including engineering, financial management, and business development. They will lead and manage technical and administrative staff, ensuring high performance and compliance with corporate and government standards. They will be the primary liaison with clients, coordinating activities, resolving issues, and ensuring deliverables meet quality expectations. Additionally they will manage the program finances, subcontractor activities, and prepares technical and cost proposals. This role is 100% onsite in Old Town, San Diego.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
-6 8 years of related experience, including supervisory experience in a DOD production line environment
-Effective management and leadership skills.
-Effective business development skills, including proposal development and preparation.
-Effective communication skills.
-Detailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards.
-Proficiency in the use of basic office-related software applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-U.S. Navy C4ISR, Combat, or Aircraft systems maintenance, repair, overhaul, and/or manufacturing management experience.
-Knowledge and experience in the procurement and production of U.S. Navy Shipboard Communications and Network Systems, which includes production units, kits, modules, spares, and/or software.
