Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Quality Technician, level 2 for a leading provider of complex composites, assemblies, and tooling in the aerospace industry. This is a direct hire role, located in San Diego, CA. Job responsibilities will include:
• Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components on all types of standard and special products, to insure alignment with product requirements and quality standards
• Provides detail analysis, troubleshooting and evaluation of components, assemblies and systems
• Maintains documentation records and data on tests performed
• Recommends quality control solutions to complex problems and implements corrective actions
• Sets up or builds special test panels to facilitate testing and /or evaluation as needed
• Performs internal audits based on established criteria and records the results
• Any other duties assigned, and further responsibilities as directed.

Required Skills & Experience

High School Diploma
4+ years of experience as a quality technician in the aerospace industry
Skilled at conducting examinations and quality control inspections on products and materials
Experience with blueprints, drawings and part lists
Great communication
Able to be onsite in San Diego, working a 9/80 schedule
