Project Managers within the Business Optimization group support and manage a variety of Capital and O&M projects primarily focused around process optimization, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Project Manager serves as the single point of contact and is accountable for ensuring the overall success of their assigned projects. The Project Manager is directly responsible for multiple projects at one time, leading various cross-functional teams to develop scope of work, business requirements, schedule, and resources, as well as proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues to the project. The Project Manager is also responsible for stakeholder communication, training, and implementation, change management, and ensuring key deliverables and milestones are met within the timeframes established. The main project focus of this PM will be to map out current and future state processes for field scheduling and dispatching in the Gas Operations vertical. The purpose of this project will be to optimize current scheduling and dispatching processes as a new software (GeoCall) is integrated into he Gas Operations vertical.
Responsibilities:
40% - Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects through direct coordination with various departments, subject matter experts (SMEs), consultants, management, and other personnel
25% - Drive accountability to ensure tasks and milestones are delivered on time and within the approved budget
20% - Ensure open communication with all project Team Members, Stakeholders, End-users, and Management
10% - Utilize and support applications, software, and tools within the Business IPO framework to ensure consistency in overall project management, reporting, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
Must be a self-starter, driven, and high performing with good attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills. Successful candidates must have the ability to present technical and non-technical information to a variety of audiences, effectively lead meetings, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
