Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Business Optimization group, supporting and leading a portfolio of Capital and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) initiatives. This role is focused on process optimization, system enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts that drive measurable operational value across the organization.

The Project Manager serves as the single point of accountability for assigned projects and is responsible for ensuring successful execution from initiation through implementation. This role manages multiple projects concurrently and leads cross-functional teams to define scope, business requirements, schedules, resources, and budgets while proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.

Projects are often high-visibility and enterprise-impacting, directly influencing key operational areas including safety, reliability, regulatory compliance, asset management, customer service, and accounting operations. In addition to delivery oversight, this role plays a critical part in stakeholder communication, change management, training coordination, and implementation support, ensuring adoption and long-term sustainability of solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
40% – Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects, coordinating closely with internal departments, subject matter experts (SMEs), consultants, leadership, and external partners
25% – Drive accountability across project teams to ensure milestones and deliverables are completed on time and within approved budgets
20% – Maintain clear, consistent communication with project team members, stakeholders, end users, and management throughout the project lifecycle
10% – Utilize and support Business IPO frameworks, tools, and applications to ensure consistency in project management, reporting, scheduling, and financial tracking

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree required
7+ years of project management experience, with a strong focus on process optimization or continuous improvement initiatives
Lean Six Sigma certification and/or demonstrated working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
Experience creating process workflows and diagrams using Microsoft Visio
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a complex, cross-functional environment
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills
PMP Certification
