Job Description
An enterprise BioTech company is seeking a Remote Developer to support their team. This person will design and develop backend software for medical devices, including production code, unit tests, and utility libraries. This role involves collaboration in an Agile/Scrum environment and occasional support for escalated production issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, code, and maintain high-quality applications in C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core.
Participate in planning, design reviews, and architecture alignment.
Contribute to Agile team processes and provide technical leadership when needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve targeted bugs; support production issues as required.
Stay current with industry trends and evaluate new technologies.
Environment:
Backend-focused (no database work).
Enterprise-scale projects.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, SOA, and web security architecture.
Experience with source control (Git, SVN) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions).
Shell and Bash scripting.
Solid understanding of object-oriented design and Agile methodologies.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Hands on experience with build pipeline tools, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Github Actions, or equivalent
Proficiency in Linux
Experience in Defensive Cybersecurity - Strong background in implementing and managing defensive security measures.
