Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and support structures for complex mechanical systems. The candidate will design support structures, enclosures, and test fixtures using SolidWorks, ensuring proper integration and safety compliance. They will develop detailed electrical and mechanical components such as support frames, power distribution modules, hermetic enclosures, and powder dispensers. The role also involves creating layouts for optical test setups, supporting fabrication and assembly processes, and collaborating with testing teams to validate designs, analyze results, and implement improvements. Additionally, they will prepare comprehensive documentation including drawings, assembly instructions, and test report

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or related discipline
Approximately 10 years of professional experience in mechanical design and support
Extensive proficiency in SolidWorks (10+ years preferred)
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication, and assembly processes
Ability to create detailed drawings, assembly instructions, and design documentation
Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with system validation, testing support, or product development
Knowledge of electrical, optical, or specialized engineering systems is a plus but not required
