We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, along with expertise in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), PCB design and manufacturing, and space flight hardware experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality
Utilize DfMA principles to optimize product designs for ease of manufacturing
Design and develop PCB layouts for electronic components
Oversee the manufacturing of PCBs and ensure compliance with industry standards
Manage the production of space flight hardware, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and production delays
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new manufacturing projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Proven experience in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA)
Strong background in PCB or PCBA design and manufacturing
Previous experience working with space flight hardware is highly desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
