Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operational sequences, and processes for parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
Collaborate with Design Engineers on new product introductions, tooling, and parts testing.
Support operations with assembly, testing, certification, and shipment of optical, resistivity, and thin-film measurement systems.
Interface with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Sales teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
Create and update documentation including work instructions, checklists, and troubleshooting guides to improve manufacturability and quality.
Test and qualify mechanical, electrical, and optical components, working with suppliers to enhance incoming material quality.
Execute build sequences related to system assembly, calibration, and certification, analyzing and improving manufacturing effectiveness.
Interpret design drawings, schematics, and models using CAD tools to resolve errors and optimize production.
Collect, analyze, and report manufacturing data, utilizing SPC and other quality tools to inform process improvements.
Drive efforts addressing product-level issues, supplier quality escalations, and process optimization projects.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science
3+ years of experience (or 1+ years with a Master's degree) in manufacturing, engineering, or related field
Proven track record in developing and implementing production documentation and manufacturing processes
Experience with SPC, quality projects, tracking rework and scrap
Ability to maintain accurate BOM and cost data
Experience in tooling, fixturing, and process improvements
Familiarity with engineering change processes
Ability to develop, execute, and refine manufacturing and assembly instructions
Strong analytical skills, with experience in data collection and analysis
Knowledge of FEA, SolidWorks, and CAD tools
Experience with statistical process control and quality systems
Effective communicator across diverse teams and cultures (US, Europe, Asia)
Self-motivated with a systematic approach and keen problem-solving skills
Experience in supplier development and working with third-party vendors
Capable of working under changing priorities with minimal supervision
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and adhere to PPE safety standards
