Insight Global is looking to hire a mechanically-inclined, curious Engineer to support daily testing of electromechanical components on a new, highly pressurized bench. The day-to-day will primarily be in a lab (not cleanroom) and include running scripts on the bench for automation purposes and documenting issues as they arise to pass onto the researcher to interpret. If you enjoy the intricacies and problem solving the integration of gases, hydraulics, optics/lasers, etc. then this role is for you. This is anticipated to be a long-term need with room for growth.
Compensation: $40-60/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant Engineering field
2-4 years of hands-on testing experience on a bench including various complex electromechanical and/or optical components
2-4 years creating documentation in team environment (i.e. can hand off the documentation for another team member to interpret)
Strong understanding of tool design, spatial fittings, vacuums, electronics (controllers, valves) etc.
Semiconductor industry experience (specifically on the tooling or manufacturing side like Applied Materials)
