Job Description

An up-and-coming Medical Device Company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in AWS, .NET, C#, RESTful API development, and a solid understanding of front-end web technologies. This position is fully onsite at their San Diego facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, be well-versed in best practices for API design and development and have a passion for creating robust and scalable systems. Experience with front-end technologies is a plus, as you will be collaborating closely with their user experience team.

Required Skills & Experience

Responsibilities:
Backend Development: Focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure backend services within cloud infrastructure.
Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services like Lambda, EC2, ECS, RDS, and Docker.
API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET and C# that are efficient, scalable, and easy to integrate with other systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with mobile application developers and the user experience team to ensure seamless integration of APIs with user-facing components.
Security: Implement best practices for security in cloud environments and APIs to protect sensitive data.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all software developed complies with industry regulations and adheres to rigorous testing protocols to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of cloud services and APIs, optimizing them for speed and efficiency.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and APIs to ensure clarity and ease of maintenance.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers on best practices in cloud development, .NET, C#, and API design.

Qualifications:
Required:
Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years full stack development and cloud development within AWS preferably.
Extensive experience with .NET and C#.
Proven experience with RESTful APIs.
Basic front-end knowledge (Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Strong cloud security knowledge.
Experience in regulated industries.
Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
