Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled FPGA Tester to join a prominent Semiconductor company in San Diego. The ideal candidate will collaborate with design teams to craft hardware test plans and develop python automations using TARS and various lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and JTAG tools. Responsibilities include creating new python test infrastructure, writing test cases utilizing existing API's, automating hardware tests based on established plans, and occasionally devising new plans. Additionally, the role involves running simulations, analyzing waveforms, and leveraging this data to enhance waveform testing processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience in an engineering environment (PCB, FPGA design etc.)

- 1+ year working with Python developing automated test scripts

- Familiar with lab tools (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, JTAG etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Basic knowledge of FPGA development

- Experience using UVM to run computer based simulations

- VHDL, System Verilog, FreeRTOS

- Experience using Labbench to support python scripting

- Xilinx lab manager, Corpus programming
