Job Description
The Supervisor, Foreclosures plays an important role in the organization by overseeing the day-to-day productivity of direct reports and monitoring reports to ensure department efficiency and meeting KPI’s. They will be overseeing a team of 5-8 people. The role is responsible for managing employees, setting objectives, and assigning work/projects related to area(s) of expertise and supervision. The Supervisor, Foreclosures also updates internal procedures and trains staff on existing, new and changed investor, federal and state regulations, and ensures document quality control for one or more of the following areas: bankruptcies, foreclosures, post foreclosure, evictions and REO’s.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Oversee daily work and ensure team meets productivity and quality goals.
- Coach and support team members; hire, train, and discipline staff as needed.
- Monitor the status of files and ensure all documents and steps are completed correctly.
- Review and approve foreclosure and bankruptcy cases.
- Calculate fees and prepare invoices.
- Ensure files are closed and stored properly.
- Help update procedures to stay compliant with laws and investor rules.
- Support audits and process improvements.
- Provide regular updates to senior management about team performance and issues.
- Handle higher-risk issues and coach staff on resolving problems.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in mortgage loan servicing and foreclosure processes.
- Deep Knowledge of mortgage foreclosures, defaults, and bankruptcies, and regulations.
- Experience working with FHA and VA Loans.
- Experience foreclosing on properties.
- Proven management experience with the ability to lead and support staff.
- Strong understanding of investor guidelines, or the ability to independently research and interpret them.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience managing 5-8 foreclosure specialists at once.
- Bachelor's degree.
Basic math skills and familiarity with document software like AIQ and Blitzdoc.
