Job Description
A healthcare organization in the San Diego area is seeking six Field Service Technicians to support a large-scale PC refresh initiative involving approximately 1,500 devices.
The team is looking for individuals with experience supporting enterprise-level PC refresh projects, including imaging, hardware swaps, device deployment, and high-volume refresh work. A Network+ certification is highly preferred.
Technicians will primarily support kiosk computer refreshes while also assisting with standard user workstations and devices with more complex application requirements. Additional responsibilities include asset tracking, inventory management, documentation, and providing end-user support throughout the refresh process. This is a 5-month engagement (one engagement needed for 6 months).
The first 2-3 weeks will consist of onsite training, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Following training, technicians will support locations throughout the San Diego area and may be assigned to either the North County or South County region. Technicians will primarily work within their designated territory and should be comfortable supporting multiple facilities as needed.
Candidates must be flexible with their schedules, as work may occur during business hours but will primarily take place during evening and overnight shifts to support after-hours device refreshes. For most deployments, technicians will begin their shift in the late afternoon (around 4pm). Team members will generally be assigned to a single location for the duration of their shift rather than traveling between sites throughout the day. The organization is seeking individuals with strong communication skills who are reliable and hardworking.
