A company in San Diego is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to support various facilities for maintenance and upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering (50%)
Develop and update electrical system designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
Create and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation for facility systems (lighting, power distribution, backup systems, etc.).
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess electrical needs and propose design solutions.
Project Management (50%)
Lead and manage facilities-related electrical projects from concept through completion.
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Prepare and manage RFx events, evaluate bids, and oversee contractor selection.
Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Track and report on project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
